In 2001, Pat Pearce and Mike Belli founded PowerComm Solutions with a shared vision — to build something bigger than themselves. At the time, both had promising careers at well-respected companies in Northern Nevada, and they were raising young families.
Yet they felt a deep yearning for more: more autonomy, more legacy, more purpose. Rather than rush in, they spent two years in weekly planning sessions, refining their ideas, cultivating a business plan, and aligning their goals. Their commitment was unwavering: they would create a company built to last. What truly set them apart was their conviction that success depended not just on technical expertise, but on culture. They made it their mission to attract people who didn’t just want a job, but who believed in the PowerComm mission:

Pat and Mike didn’t just want to build a company — they wanted to build opportunities. Their goal was to cultivate a team of people who shared their hunger for excellence, who would grow with the company and create a legacy of professionalism and trust.

Over the years, PowerComm Solutions has grown into a full-service electronic systems consulting, engineering, and integration firm headquartered in Reno, Nevada. Licensed in Nevada, California, Idaho, and Washington, we deliver fully engineered, end-to-end technology solutions that connect, protect and secure modern facilities across the Mountain West.
We design, integrate, and support scalable Communication, Fire, Security, and Monitoring systems tailored to each client and built to evolve with emerging technologies and operational demands.
We proudly serve education, healthcare, government, data centers, airports, and commercial facilities throughout the region.

Mike Belli, Director of Business Administration, brings over 35 years of experience in electronics and utility construction. Before PowerComm, he worked with Sierra Pacific Power Company (aka NV Energy) and Peavine Construction, gaining deep expertise in project management, sales, and strategic planning.
Pat Pearce, Director of Field Operations, is a licensed electrician, NICET IV–certified fire alarm technician, and Registered Communications and Distribution Designer (RCDD). He’s led the design, estimating, and field operations for hundreds of projects across Nevada and California.
Together, they’ve built a leadership team that is deeply embedded in the Northern Nevada community. Both are University of Nevada, Reno alumni and long-standing community leaders.
